Tree Replacement

Did you know?  Since 2002, NES has planted over 10,000 trees in the Greater Nashville area through our Tree Replacement program.

Before a tree is replaced, however, there are several factors that must be considered:  the density, species, health and location of the existing tree, site conditions, the selected replacement species and its recommended spacing.

Tree Replacement Species

Amur Maple - Acer ginnala 'Flame Maple,' mature height 12-15 ft.

Extremely hardy small tree which forms a dense rounded head.  Noted for its brilliant fall red foliage.  Plant in full to semi sun.

White Flowering Crabapple - Malus 'Calloway', mature height 15-25 ft.

An excellent tree with white flowers.  Tree bears red fruit and red to purple leaves in the fall.  Plant in well drained soil with full to semi sun.
