Energy Right Solutions for Business
Energy Right Solutions helps businesses manage energy more efficiently and is designed to reduce the highest periods of demand on TVA's system.
What types of businesses can participate?
All commercial and industrial customers with a contract demand of 5,000 kilowatts or less, are eligible. Large facilities such as schools, hospitals, office buildings, and warehouses are all potential candidates.
How does Energy Right Solutions for Business work?
Participation is easy and includes flexible components to help meet your individual needs, including:
Complimentary On-Site Energy Assessment - Qualifying facilities may need a free walk-through energy audit to identify potential areas for energy savings.
Detailed Energy Study - Qualifying facilities have the option of an in-depth energy study to find additional energy saving opportunities. TVA and NES will share the cost of this study with you. It includes development of detailed cost and savings projections to help guide your decision-making.
Standard Rebate - Cash rebates are available for replacing specific inefficient equipment with more efficient models.
Custom Incentive - Incentives typically apply to longer-term, complex or unique energy efficiency projects needing a custom approach. It may include a process change rather than just an equipment retrofit. An Energy Right Solutions expert can work with your engineer or installer to develop a custom incentive based on estimated energy savings. The current incentive is $0.10 per kWh of electricity saved in one year.
