Outages

For your safety, if you see a downed power line, always assume it is live. Stay at least 30 feet away and call 9-1-1 immediately.

Estimated Time of Restoration 

Restoration times are estimates only and may be adjusted as crews assess damage and respond to changing conditions. Power restored to your area does not necessarily mean power has been restored to your home or business, as additional repairs may be needed. We will update restoration times as information becomes available.


Keeping your contact information up to date is important during outages and in case we need to contact you. To confirm that your email address and phone number are correct on file, sign in to My Account and click on "Profile." You can also call Customer Relations at 615-736-6900 or visit us in person at 1214 Church Street during regular business hours.

You can now let us know your power is out directly from the NEs outage map!

Sign Into My Account

If you have no electricity at your location, report the outage by signing into My Account online or through the NES mobile app. 

How We Restore Power
